Video Project: Bobcat, Chip Gaines, and a Big Announcement

Bobcat Company’s $100,000 Park and Rec Makeover Contest offered communities a chance to refresh and reimagine outdoor spaces.

Minnesota-based X-FCTR tapped BeeMuse to capture the excitement as Bobcat announced the contest with help from brand ambassador and renovation expert Chip Gaines in his hometown of Waco, TX.

Bobcat and Gaines joined city leaders, volunteers, little league players, and their families to remodel a baseball field.

Our videos supported the campaign’s PR and earned media efforts, showcasing the energy, community spirit, and most visual moments.

The goals? Build excitement, encourage entries, gain earned media coverage, and celebrate baseball, communities, and the outdoors.

Project Summary
This project took us back to our broadcast news days—gathering video and producing a fully edited piece in just one day.

We began with an in-depth consultation to understand the client’s goals. During pre-production, we developed a detailed shot list, discussion guide, and draft script, ensuring every aspect of the shoot was well planned. We also leveraged our expertise in media professionals' needs and schedules to help the PR lead coordinate outreach effectively.

On location, we used a Sony ENG camera to match the footage media organizations prefer. We also incorporated a 360-degree camera to capture unique angles of the ballpark remodel.

Video was recorded in 4K and 8K, allowing for high-quality content across multiple platforms. In post-production, we applied expert editing, color grading, and audio design to craft a polished final product.
