Video Project: Bobcat & Chip Gaines Surprise Army Vet

In May 2025, Bobcat Co. launched its “Work Worth Doing” campaign, with Chip Gaines as a brand ambassador. He surprised U.S. Army veteran Jason Shields—the founder of Hoof Haven Sanctuary in Gatesville, Texas—by donating a brand-new Bobcat T595 compact track loader.

This touching initiative marked the kickoff of Bobcat’s 2025 campaign to honor everyday heroes, including veterans, community leaders, and first responders.

Our videos supported the campaign’s PR and earned media efforts.

Project Summary
For this project, we combined multiple camera formats and perspectives to tell a compelling story. We captured primary footage using a Sony FX3, ensuring cinematic quality. Simultaneously, we recorded with an Osmo Action 5 Pro in 4K 4:3, specifically to capture vertical content optimized for social media stories and reels.

Adding another dimension, we used an 8K 360-degree camera to get immersive shots impossible with traditional setups. The 360 footage was reframed and seamlessly matched with other cameras’ video, creating a cohesive and dynamic final piece.

Our comprehensive approach delivered versatile, high-impact video content that highlights the emotional story of a veteran’s sanctuary with authenticity and cinematic polish. All while staying lean with a crew of two people!
